Buying guide
Start with platform compatibility, then compare comfort, stick design, customization and wired versus wireless use.
A controller must match your PlayStation, Xbox or PC setup before any premium feature matters.
Grip shape, weight and button placement matter most once a session runs long.

Wireless keeps a setup cleaner, while wired controllers avoid charging and connection concerns.
Standard wireless, premium customizable and wired value routes solve different platform and comfort priorities.
Best for
Most console players and additional local multiplayer controllers.
Why choose it
Simple platform-native support without paying for premium customization.
Watch out
Standard controllers offer fewer remappable controls and hardware adjustments.
Best for
Players who actively use back buttons, profiles or adjustable sticks and triggers.
Why choose it
More customization can improve comfort and control preferences across different games.
Watch out
Premium controllers cost significantly more and do not automatically improve every player's experience.
Best for
Budget-focused Xbox and PC setups where a cable is not a problem.
Why choose it
No charging is required, and models such as the G7 SE include Hall Effect controls at a lower price tier.
Watch out
The cable limits movement and may be less suitable for distant couch setups.
Before you buy
Confirm platform fit and comfort before paying for premium controls or choosing a wired setup.
